Dry red wine

Directions

  1. In 1 1/2-quart saucepan stir together undrained cherries, water, sugar, tapioca, and cloves.
  2. Let stand 5 minutes.
  3. Bring to boiling.
  4. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Remove from heat; stir in wine.
  6. Cover and chill, stirring occasionally.
  7. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
